Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 in 1988.
She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the
contracting firm, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish as well as British Isles
origins. Stone started acting as a child at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre.
There she staged her first production in "The Wind in the Willows" by
Kenneth Grahame. As a teenager Stone was part of numerous shows before she
decided to make acting her profession. The official version of the story is
that she put together a PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's
"Hollywood" and later titled "Project Hollywood", in
attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to abandon school and relocate to
Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted, she and her mom moved to LA.
She continued her education at home and was able to audition. Her TV debut came
when she was chosen to play Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search
of the Partridge Family (2004). This led to several small TV parts over the
years. After a string of success with her part as Olive in Easy A (2010) was
her first film role. The school she attended was Xavier College Preparatory in
Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's known as a redhead, her natural hair shade is
blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested she change her natural hair color
for Superbad (2007). The movie was so popular that she chose to stay with. At
age 15, she convinced her parents she could make the move to Hollywood. She
achieved this by making an PowerPoint presentation entitled Project Hollywood.
Her first experience in acting at the age of 11 years old. age in the Valley
Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she starred in over 16 stage productions as
well as performing the theatre's comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also a
part of the Valley Youth Theatre.
